Kiwiherb Echinature 50ml
This is a great tasting, easy to take, high potency immune booster.
Echinacea purpurea stimulates the innate immune system and may reduce the severity and duration of colds and flu. It is most effective when taken for prevention or at the first signs of illness.
Side note: echinacea is also a sialagogue - it will make your mouth water when you first take it and you'll feel a tingle on your tongue. This is a telltale sign of good quality echinacea with a high potency of alkylamides which are considered to be one of the most important active constituents.
This product is produced to the highest standards in New Zealand, and is BIO-GRO Certified Organic.
NOTE FROM THE SKIN NATUROPATH: While this product is primarily indicated for immune support, it also has many benefits for skin health. Echinacea has long been used for the treatment of acne, boils, eczema, psoriasis, mouth ulcers, poorly healing wounds and skin inflammation. Echinacea is immune modulating, blood cleansing, antiinflammatory, lymphatic and vulnerary so is an ideal addition to many skin health regimes.
